Dr. Nayara Pataro, or ‘Dr. Nai,’ spent her childhood in a tranquil cottage surrounded by farm animals, fostering a deep connection with the animal soul. She cherished time with her horse and dogs and her fascination with the feline world sparked a lasting passion for cats.
As a founding doctor of Bliss Animal Hospital, Dr. Nai’s interests lie in soft tissue surgeries, preventive care, and dentistry. As a fear-free certified professional, Dr. Nai firmly believes in the utilization of fear-free techniques to ensure that every pet’s experience at her hospital is comfortable and stress-free. Dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine, Dr. Nai is a proud member of AVMA, AAHA and AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners).
She further honed her expertise by obtaining a graduate certificate in Emergency and Critical Care from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her commitment to continue learning is evident through her pursuit of ongoing advanced education, focusing on soft tissue surgery techniques and dentistry.
The memory of her beloved dog Nani, who left this planet last year, and her cherished cat Charlie, who resides in her heart and memories, serve as a constant source of inspiration to provide the same level of care and devotion to all the pets that come through the doors of Bliss Animal Hospital.
Dr. Nai lives in South Orange County and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and paddle boarding. She also treasures quality moments with her family, which includes her husband Ben and two boys, Benjamin and Miguel, providing her with a balanced and fulfilling life.
